DreamMakers Dream Jubilee: Your Future Self

Come join us at The BOX Media Space - the Creative Hub and Movie Production Studio in Indianapolis (known as the "Circle City" and the "Crossroads of America") for an inspiring evening of Hope, Dreams, Joy, and JUBILEE!

Dress as Your Future Self - there's no better way to manifest your future reality and impact you are here to make than experiencing it as if it were already fully realized.

On May 11, it will be the year 2029 - five years in the future. You will be talking in the present tense and acting "as if" the entire evening.

Join us for this Jubilee celebration where we will learn all about the Hope Center Indy and the dreams they've already made come true! Hear about how it all started with a dream, including a visit to the Dream Center in Los Angeles, and help fund the next steps to creating the Emergent Need Safe Nights program for those who need an immediate and safe place to spend the night.

And, we will be CELEBRATING YOU, with red carpet photos and interviews, dinner and dancing. It will be a night to remember!

Not only that, but we will be doing this online too, for those who can't make it in person. Wherever you are, dress in your very best version of your future you.

Our dream is that many organizations and groups and communities around the world will be doing this at the same time! Whether it's you connecting online from your own living rom, or your family doing it together and figuring out your own version of fundraising, we are also fully launching DreamMakers Dream as a non-profit, with a mission of helping organizations that are truly changing lives. The more we raise, the more we can help!

Our primary focus is to help with human sex trafficking. The first goal for the Hope Center Indy is $150,000 to fund the Emergent Need Safe Nights - for anyone who isn't safe, whether they have been sex trafficked or not. The heart of the Hope Center is beautiful, we can't wait for you to learn more.

We will also be giving funds to the Joy School in Kenya, where they bus kids in from the slums and give them shoes and food and a chance to not fall through the cracks. In that school, they teach all the children, ages 4-7, various subjects to prepare them for school. And, they teach them about Jesus - even the Muslim children (whose parents give permission to do so). Again, some of the biggest hearts on the planet.

And finally, the Masai village of Chief Joshua, who needs a well. It will change the lives not only of his village but other villages nearby. Their lifestyle is based on cows and goats, so when there is no water, animals die. They currently are getting water from an excavation collection of rainwater, which sometimes has a lot but sometimes doesn't. Animals also use this same very dirty water. They are desperately in need of a well.

DreamMakers Dream began with an event called DreamMakers: Making Impossible Dreams Happen, and our first big event - which we pulled off in 2 weeks with 4 sponsors, was held at this same location at The BOX on 1-11-23. Nearly 70 people showed up!

After visiting Kenya, I realized we needed to call it DreamMakers Dream - because it is the ACT of dreaming, and taking action on your dreams and helping those around you, that truly makes the difference.

We will be capping this event at 77 people due to space requirements, so our dream is that other groups and families and organizations around the world also join us online or hold their own in person gala. It doesn't have to be fancy, it could even be potluck or pizza. The most important thing is for people to show up together and celebrate each other, and raise money for the worthy causes that DreamMakers Dream will be funding.

We will have instructions for each type of gathering if you want to do your own version, or you can join our online option and follow along with us.

No matter what - DREAM! Dreams aren't dumb! Dreams make the world turn and impact those around you.

And, as Barbara Sher says in her TEDx talk, and the inspiration for our first (and main) event, "Isolation is the Dream Killer, not attitude". After the devastating isolation we all experienced during the pandemic, we are also holding this inaugural annual event on May 11 - the day my own beloved father died in 2020. He had a career that spanned the globe, and loved to travel. He was an incredible leader, yet relatable and fun and silly. Most people who met him said he was their favorite person. And, Barbara Sher died the same year, the day before my dad.

So as we honor their legacies focusing on your own living legacy, we hope you will join us.

If you can't afford a ticket, please ask for a promo code.

If you can afford to sponsor someone else, please do so.

This is our chance to collectively make a huge impact of love and kindness across the planet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sponsor this event?

We welcome sponsors! Sponsorships available: Table Sponsors for a table of 8 ($1500), 3 to 5 Champion Sponsors at $5,000, and one Premier Title Sponsor at $10,000 (including red carpet backdrop logo and multiple media mentions). More options available - please email carla@dreammakersdream.com

What should I wear?

Arrive (or join online) as who you will be 5 years from now. Dress in your very best - ready for the red carpet photos and interviews upon your arrival. Speak only in present tense the entire evening, as if all your goals have been achieved, and all your dreams have already come true.

What should I bring?

Bring props to show everyone what you've achieved in the "past" 5 years, such as bestselling books you've written, magazine covers you've been on, awards you've won, & photos of your achievements. Throughout the evening, you'll be able to cheer for others for their achievements and receive congrats!

How many people can attend? Can I host my own event at the same time?

At The Box, we will have to cap it at 77 people. However, because I'm even more passionate about this project, I've realized this needs to be a collective collaboration around the world. I will ask all of the groups and organizations I've joined (many of which are global) to also participate.

How do I host my own DreamMakers Dream Jubilee event on this same date of May 11?

Whatever way works best for you! Join us online during our livestream. Or, create your own version with your own friends or family - and use the link for the fundraiser (coming soon!) from wherever in the world you are. Come as Your Future Self, wherever you are! Together, we CAN make a difference!

DreamMakers launched in January 2023, with a sold out event with over 70 people who showed up and helped launch impossible dreams. Dreams like starting an airbnb business, becoming a songwriter, writing a book, launching a horse therapy program, and stepping full-time into leading a non-profit are just some of the dreams that have already become a reality.

This is where dreams are made. Let's make them happen together!
