About this event

This class is for any firearms enthusiast who wants to learn the fundamentals of a proper and safe technique for drawing, firing and holstering a firearm. Proficiency in these skills is basic to, and essential for, safely and confidently carrying a concealed firearm. This is a 2.5 hour class taught by Tim Caulfield and it includes dry fire and live fire exercises. Tim is a certified NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, Rifle Instructor, and Basic Handgun Instructor and was also FDLE certified as a firearms and shoothouse instructor. Tim has 30 years of law enforcement experience in which he held several positions including SWAT Operator/Medic Tactical Team Member and K9 handler/trainer. Class fee: $50 includes eye and ear protection (if needed) and targets. Class time: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the first Saturday of every month. Come to the Shooting Center to check in by 8:45 AM. Gear reguirements: Firearm, 100 rounds of ammunition, Outside The Waistband Holster, magazine pouch, concealment garment (no open carry).
