About this event

Do you love to draw or doodle and wish you were better at it? Do you know someone who loves to draw but could use a few pointers to take them to the next level? Do you just want to meet up with a group of great people who share your passion for art and drawing?

Join us at Graphite Club! Graphite Club is a community art "school" that offers affordable workshops and classes, primarily for adults who want to develop a new skill, reconnect with a long lost passion, or hone their current art practice. All skill levels are welcome!

Time: 6:30pm - 8pm

Location: Westlake, Daly City (exact address provided after signup)

In this 1.5- hour workshop students will learn to visualize objects as shapes in order to create more realistic forms when drawing. We will draw from a simple still life using graphite pencils.

Class size is limited to 3 students.

BW Pots (aka Brian) is an artist that has a passion for working across various mediums such as clay, charcoal, graphite and digital. His ceramics and charcoal portraits have been exhibited locally and internationally. When he's not creating tiny teapots and functional ceramics for BW Pots, or teaching drawing classes, you can find him surfing the waves at the nearest beach.

Brian earned his BFA in Ceramics at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, and his MFA in Visual Development from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
