Drawing From Source

Heartbeat Learning Gardens at the peak of summer is a treasure trove of shapes, colors, and textures.

This Drawing Workshop, led by artist and educator Dennie Eagleson, will use the gardens as source. We will use unconventional tools, ink, ink washes and charcoal to create visual resposes to the plant communities we encounter. Starting with prompts that will encourge careful observation and fast and loose mark making, we will create a collective protrait of the gardens. No prior drawing experience is needed.
