DrawdownNYC is a diverse group of environmental leaders and engaged citizens whose goal is to scale up and put into action the Drawdown solutions at a local, regional and global level at this critical time.Pachamama Alliance:The purpose of PA is to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on the planet. Born from an alliance between people in the modern world and indigenous people of the Amazon rain forest that has successfully preserved their lands and culture for over 2 decades, PA”s unique contribution in the modern world is providing information and consciousness-raising programs in over 80 countries and 20 languages that inspire people to take action.

Research that proposes global warming can be reversed by the world<SPAN>wide</SPAN> scaling up of the solutions outlined. In the workshop, trends and debates in environmental organizing, ways to become engaged in the solutions and the reigning wisdom of environmental leaders will be offered from the perspective of the Project Drawdowns thorough and groundbreaking calculus. All are welcome and will benefit whether a seasoned activist or just beginning <SPAN>environmental</SPAN> engagement.</SPAN></DIV>
