  • We'll start at Dominique Ansel Workshop at 17 East 27th Street (be sure to check out the menu before!)
  • Then we'll walk together through Madison Square Park and explore the new art installation if one is up by then


Conversation topics for this meetup:

  • Do you use generative AI for professional work product?
  • Have you tried using AI as an Art Director (i.e., give it a concept and see what figurative representations it offers)?
  • Have you tried using Visual Generative AI for items other than images (e.g., spreadsheet slides, video, layout, typography)? Which tools?
  • When do you think Generative AI will be good enough to replace Stock Photography, or are we already there?
  • Have you used Generative AI to alter photos of real people (such as changing an outfit on a model or yourself)?
  • Would you use AI art to create ads for your own company? If using AI for images, would you later replace the images with natural photography, or keep the AI if you liked it enough?
  • What do you consider to be the biggest shortcomings of visual GenAI?
