Come kickoff Central Oregon Pride with us Queens, Kings, & Things - At Stars Cabaret in Bend, Oregon on Sunday, June 1st! Hosted my myself, Caressa Banana, and my co-host the lovely Fertile Liza - Enjoy an amazing lineup of 10+ Drag Performers, as well as food catered by one of our favorites, Bo's Falafel!
The theme for this event is Sex ED. While this is meant to be an fun-filled Pride celebration, we will be bringing an aspect of education to this event as well. Throughout the event I'll pop on the mic with some sex education tid-bits, including information about sexually transmitted diseases like HIV, and what resources are avaible to the community. A member of Cascade AIDS Project will be onsite to provide more information on a one-on-one basis, and the Health Department will also be present with their STD Testing van for anyone wishing to know their status.
A portion of the proceeds of this event will go to Cascades AIDS Project.
