Kickstart your creativity with a day of writing exercises and free writing time, in a cafe full of other writers.  Bring your laptop and your favourite pen, and work on turning those words into magic.  This workshop is suitable for writers at all stages of their writing journey.  You are welcome whatever you are working on (and no-one is going to ask to read it on the day).  There will be free writing time, and exercises to get the creative juices flowing, and coffee.  Lots of coffee. 
The cost includes unlimited tea and coffee, snacks and a light lunch.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Nest Cafe is in Crosspool, right by the 51 bus stop (although the Sunday bus service can be a bit unreliable!)  There is free parking across the street outside the shops, as well as on Benty Lane and Manchester Road if you don't mind a few minutes walk.
 
What can I bring into the event?
You will need your laptop and your favourite pen.  If your battery life is less than six hours, you might also want to bring your charger: there are charging points in the cafe but not 1:1.  Paper and other stationery supplies are provided but you should also bring a pen you're comforable using as some of the exercises are handwritten.
