Portals and Refs are powerful tools that some of us are very familiar with and others have never used them. This presentation will be a crash course on React Portals and Refs, everything from what they are, when to use them, how to use them in Class components vs. Hooks, how to test them, and how to make Portals accessible.   </blockquote><p><strong>Daniel Tijerina, Randall Jones: Apollo - React Hooks &amp; Unit Testing</strong></p><p>Summary:</p><blockquote>Apollo React Hooks and Unit testing Apollo offers some nice react hooks to integrate queries, mutations, and subscriptions with your components. We will go over query and mutation hooks, handling caching, and some common use cases like pagination.
