Dr. Alexis McRae MD, graduated from Penn State College of Medicine in 1998. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. In 2001 she accepted a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine at Duke University Medical Center and relocated to Durham North Carolina. In 2006 Dr. McRae relocated to the Triad area where she continued to practice Emergency Medicine as an Independent contractor and travelled to many underserved areas within the United States providing Emergency Medical Care. During this time period she also continued to pursue her interest in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. McRae has always been committed to treating the entire person. She believes: “Maintaining a balance between physical, mental and emotional health is paramount. I opened YOUR BEST YOU MEDICAL SPA in order to provide a safe, welcoming, comfortable and confidential space to share for clients to share their body image concerns. I then develop a unique and individualized plan to help each client become the best version of themselves. Dr. McRae is dual Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.
