Band Practice is coming to the Newport!

Band Practice is a Berlin based theatre duo that met while failing at clown school. What started as experiments in music (a la Bowie, Prince, Hendrix, Nicks) became a theatre show, became a way of working that celebrates the chaos and uniqueness of interactive formats.

With three full length shows, and a closet of cabaret characters, Band Practice have performed mostly in Europe including at Edinburgh Fringe, Berlin Fringe, Vaul Festival, Deutsches Theatre, ACUD, Poznan's Malta Festival. This is their first time performing across the ocean.

This show is semi-improvised and audience interactive. There are moments of complete darkness, please take care.

The Newport Theater is up a flight of stairs with no elevator, but access to a Genesis portable mobile stairlift (rated up to 400 pounds) is available. Please email newporttheater@gmail.comin advance of your arrival to coordinate entry and sign a waiver (required by our landlord).

There are four single-stall non-gendered restrooms available onsite.
