About this event

Did you know that dogs primarily use body language to communicate? People use body language too, but also a lot of chit chat. Our dogs often don't know what our words mean, unless we teach them, but they are masters at reading our body language. So let's return the favor and learn more about what our furry friends are saying to us. By reading their bodies, we can better know how our dogs feel, what they may be thinking, and how they may behave so we can interact with them safely and respectfully. Just like us, dogs have subtle ways of showing us they are uncomfortable, worried or scared. Let's learn their whispers before they shout in protest with growling, snapping or biting.

This event is geared towards children, but is very valuable for adults as well. We will be keeping it simple, but additional resources will be provided for attendees who want to dive deeper. An adult must be present to supervise and assist as needed. This is an online workshop and a zoom link will be emailed to you after you register to attend the session.
