Dof Workshop is a one day workshop jammed packed with information and interactive experiences. Is Dof for me: Have you recently been asking yourself...what's next? Then, dof just may be for YOU!Give me the deets: Dof [Depth of Field] Workshop: ELEVATE 2019. <ol><li>Elevate art with Jake will take you into exploring new avenues of creating. If you're a creative and you feel like you're "good" and you don't need to constantly be on your toes shifting and creating and stretching to new levels...you are WRONG! Creating art is a blessing and a curse...why? Because there's so much freedom in what we get to do, but what a challenge it is to level up so you don't fall behind or stay stagnant! What do you have to do to stay fresh and to keep yourself moving...are you open to constructive criticism or do you think you have it in the bag? </li><li>Elevate business with Marsha. So now you've decided to charge for the work that you're doing. You're no longer a hobbyist the moment you start to get paid for photography. But do you know you've taken on the monster we all like to call BUSINESS OWNING....which comes with a price! Do you know what that price is? Paperwork, legal stuff, taxes, client data base, processes, insurance, etc etc....are you prepared to be a legit business? Do you want to level up in your business approach? Are you paying bills with your business?</li><li>Elevate self with Rubi Z- you may be thinking that this is a pep talk on how to love yourself, and although some of that is true...it's not the full aspect of elevate self. Here you will get insight on how confidence in self translates into confidence in your brand and voice therefore landing you the type of clients you could only dream of working with. We are going straight to the heart on this one and we are showing you how it all connects to the type of clients you get!</li></ol>Why did you create Dof [Rubi Z speaking]:When I picked up photography, I didn't expect that it was going to challenge me MENTALLY! I thought by choosing a creative outlet that I would not have to invest in learning. Boy was I wrong! We are in a line of business that unless we seek growth, growth will not come to us. I've gone to my share fair of workshops. Some literally SHIFTED me and my business and some left me walking away feeling like the investment wasn't worth it. Every single workshop I've taken has been outside of my hometown area, some out of state even. Every time I would leave a workshop I would feel so inspired to create a workshop someday. Working with a team to create something bigger than myself has always been something that I love and I was eager to bring something EXCITING and VALUABLE and hopefully life changing to our home town. As a team we've invested in ourselves and now recently, in each other. There's something so much greater that happens when you invest in others, and that's where DoF has really come in to the picture. We are all eager to invest in those who are ready to shift. We are not perfect, we may not have all the perfect answers, but we've grown and we are seeing results and we are ready to share some of the depths of why those results are happening. There is no magic pill to journeying through your art/business...you either want it bad enough to work for it and invest in it or you don't. We all hit seasons where we have to make that hard decision...either we quit trying or we GROW! 20 Attendees : 20 spots are reserved for people who are READY! Like, HUNGRY READY. Everything is about position and timing. Dof is not for everyone right now, but it's for a few...it's for 20 who want it badly enough to take a risk. We've all been here, wondering if this will work, or if it will open our eyes to something we didn't already know. We are going to dare to say that Dof is SPECIAL and those attending will be completely spoiled by us!Investment: We understand that this investment may be a stretch, but we hope in the end, you feel like you received WAY MORE than what you invested in. We've invested as well and we've paid anywhere from $800-$1500 for just a fraction of what we are bringing to DoF. Payments...you can purchase a payment directly through Eventbrite, or you can send us your payment through our Venmo acct to avoid the extra fees [@dofworkshop]. As a team: It's been incredible to meet with our team. Do you know that in several conversations that we've had as a team, there hasn't been the question.... "What's in it for me?" Not even once! It's evident that this team is now in a position where we are sick of being comfortable in our own offices and our own shells of business and the idea of collaborating with each other and stretching ourselves is more thrilling than money can buy! You know how they say, you don't really KNOW something unless you can teach it to others-we are in a sense proving to ourselves that over time, we've mastered certain zones and we are just eager to release some of the gems we've labored to discover. Our hope: That you end up feeling like you got a greater return for your investment. That you feel that more people are for you than against you once you leave dof. That you feel proud to be a photographer/entrepreneur and proud of all the grit you've put into your business thus far. We hope that you feel stronger, wiser, hungrier, and more inspired than ever to CREATE something fresh and new. We hope you start to believe in taking chances for your business and for the sake of your growth. We hope you gain clarity on yourself, your story, your identity and that it would ignite a passion to speak boldly through your work. We hope you leave like an elevated version of the person who walked through the doors in the morning. It's hard to believe that we are going to jam pack SO MUCH in one day-but that's our own personal challenge! We asked ourselves, how can we make this like the most pleasant full course meal they've ever had! Now we ask you...don't overthink this....IS DOF FOR YOU? If YES-LOCK IN YOUR TICKET!
