Docs From the Docks: Ocean Cities 

Waterfront Partnership’s Healthy Harbor Initiative works to restore and protect our City’s most valuable asset—the Baltimore Harbor. Millions of gallons of sewage, hundreds of tons of trash, and stormwater runoff are polluting the harbor and streams every year. These conditions are threatening the lives of the fish, crabs, turtles, birds, and river otters that are part of the harbor. Our mission is to bring people to the waterfront, create Harbor stewards and have a swimmable and fishable Inner Harbor.The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is a non-profit organization devoted to the restorationand protection of the Chesapeake Bay in the United States. It was founded in 1967 and has hadan educational program in Baltimore for 30 years. CBF is headquartered in Annapolis,Maryland. For more information on the foundation, visitwww.cbf.org

Waterfront Partnership and Chesapeake Bay Foundation present the second year of a winter environmental film series, Docs from the Docks.
The third film screening will be held on Thursday, April 26 from 7-9:00 pm. Join us for the premiere of "Ocean Cities," a film by the author of Blue Urbanism, Dr. Timothy Beatley. Dr. Beatley is a world-renowned author and researcher who focuses on creative strategies cities can use to reduce their carbon footprint, engage the public and create sustainable and equitable environments.  
Following the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring Dr. Timothy Beatley and others who are dedicated and passionate about offering opportunities and resources to engage at the waterfront and in nature.
