The mission of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is to provide a choral program exemplifying artistic and educational excellence for children from diverse backgrounds.We strive to be recognized as one of the finest choirs in the nation because of our excellence in musical education, the diversity of our membership and the quality of our contributions to the community’s cultural life.

Fort Wayne Children's Choir

Do Re Mi is FWCC’s annual fundraising event and dinner. It is designed to introduce attendees to our greatest asset: the professionally trained singers of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir. Over 300 children are involved in the choir’s programs and participate in dozens of performances each year that reach a live audience of thousands and extensive media coverage. In addition to hearing performances from several choirs, you will hear from alumni of the organization and other community leaders on how a quality music education affected their lives. After all, many people who study music do not grow up to be professional musicians. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is an investment in the future of our community as a whole. Do-Re-Mi will once again be a fun-filled evening of music and entertainment. This is an opportunity to ensure that the gift of music education will be available to all children who desire to be a part of it.  This year's special alumni speaker and performer is Fernando Tarango.
