DNNC 25th Anniversary Health Fair

Welcome to the DNNC 25th Anniversary Health Fair! Join us in celebrating 25 years of promoting health and wellness at Delane's Natural Nail Care. Our event will feature a variety of health screenings, informative sessions, and demonstrations to help you prioritize your well-being. Come and explore different ways to improve your health while enjoying the festivities. Don't miss out on this special occasion to learn more about taking care of yourself, especially your feet.

All proceeds generated from this event will benefit DNNC Steps to Success. This 501(c)3 nonprofit partners with us to provide scholarships to single mothers, allowing them to become manicurist and medical manicurist. Most importantly, the women in this program participate in workshops and classes like financial literacy, parenting class, and more to be the best parents possible to uplift and change the trajectory of their lives and that of their children.

DNNC Steps to Success is seeking sponsorships to uplift and support the amazing women in our program. Funds will be raised by selling ad space in our 25th anniversary commemorative booklet that will be distributed electronically at our health fair and on social media on April 27, 2024. For 25 years, Delane’s Natural Nail Care has prevented diabetic-based amputations and increased overall foot health. To mark this milestone event, we will host a free wellness fair to provide needed information and tools to diabetics and others.

*According to the American Diabetes Association, 29.7 million people were diagnosed with diabetes, and 8.7 million were undiagnosed. The National Institute of Diabetic Health states that diabetes is more common in people who are African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander. More worrisome, is that Alameda County data shows that the number of diabetics in the county is going up as of 2023.
