DLR Biodiversity are delighted to invite you to two back-to-back Biodiversity Week themed talks! Join Martina O’Brien (DLR Biodiversity Officer) and Rob Gandola of the HSI to learn more about how you can help address the biodiversity crisis from your own back garden! Martina will give an overview on invasive species, one of the key drivers of biodiversity loss globally and what you can do to help stop their spread. Rob will discuss how to get the most out of your garden for biodiversity by creating a wildlife pond. Anyone can bring a watery habitat to their garden, even in the smallest of spaces. Ponds don’t have to be large, even a mini pond in a container will benefit wildlife.

Booking is required as spaces are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the Royal Marine Hotel at 7pm
