DEFNA is a non-profit organization (approval pending), which is community run to back Django events in North America. Our first event is DjangoCon US 2015.

DjangoCon US has something for everyone, from the person who develops Django applications for a living, to the person who just tinkers in their spare time. Whether you're a Django expert, just started working in Django recently, or are interested in learning, we have talks and tutorials for you. DjangoCon is a great place to learn, exchange ideas, and meet great people.

Is my ticket transferrable?

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
If you have purchased a ticket for someone else please update the name to match the actual attendee, read this <A STYLE="line-height: 20.7999992370605px;" HREF="http://help.eventbrite.com/customer/portal/articles/430100-how-to-update-your-ticket-registration-information">article</A> to learn how.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No (please save the trees), displaying your ticket on your mobile device of choice (PDF) or Eventbrite app is completely acceptable.
 
What is the refund policy?
DjangoCon US has the following tiered refund policy:

<LI>Refunds requested before 7th August 2015 incur a 10% cancellation fee.</LI>
<LI>Refunds requested between 8th August 2015 and 31st August 2015 incur a 25% cancellation fee.</LI>
<LI>Refunds requested between 1st September 2015 and 6th September 2015 incur a 50% cancellation fee.</LI>
</UL>
For all dates the cutoff is on or before 5:00 PM CDT per the time stamp on DEFNA’s servers.</DIV>
