Receive free hands-on demonstrations, tools, tips, and raffle prizes that can help you check for and/or repair water and energy inefficiencies inside and outside your home. 
Sign-up for additonal training courses to enhance your knowledge and skills around basic home repair that can save you money.

Through hands-on demonstrations, led by licensed professionals, workshops will inform participants of best practices in assessing the energy efficiency of their home. Participants will learn trouble-shooting techniques that are intended to help manage energy use and decrease annual utility costs for the household.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No persons under the age of 16 allowed on-site.

Youth 16 and over must register and be accompanied by an adult 25 yrs or older.

Only registered participants will be allowed on-site.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free street parking is available. This is a residential neighborhood so please do not block driveways.

What can I bring into the event?

Participants should bring water and gloves.

Lunch will be provided to both morning and afternoon participants between noon and 1pm.

Snacks will be provided throughout the workshop.

All workshops will take place in a single family home on Detroit's Eastside.
