Description
As part of 2019 Kids Euro Festival, Spanish visual and new media artist Elena Juárez will conduct a workshop where participants will create interactive light up postcards with conductive ink pens.

In this workshop, children (ages 8-12) will learn the basics about electronic circuits while drawing a funny robot. They will create their own interactive postcard with bareconductive and conductive ink pens.
About Elena Juárez
The workshop is directed by Elena Juárez, visual artist and teacher resident in Madrid. She has been developing workshops on new technologies, tinkering, DIY and creative programming for more than 4 years in different educational centers. She is currently teaching new technologies at the European Design Institute in Madrid.

A reservation on Eventbrite is mandatory, printed tickets are not required.
Only one (1) participant (ages 8-12) will be admitted per ticket, parents will not need a reservation.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Doors open 20 minutes before posted showtime.
Ticket holders will have access to the event while space is available. A reservation does not guarantee admission.
Ticket holders should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start to guarantee seats.
No Late Seating, ticket holders may not be allowed to enter 15 minutes after posted showtime.

How to get there:
The best way to arrive is by public transportation. The closest Metro station is Columbia Heights (Green and Yellow line). Limited metered and two-hour zoned parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. Public parking garage is available at DC USA Shopping Mall (Columbia Heights Metro Station).
