Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion-Unconscious Bias

Through courageous conversations, self-reflection, and engaging activities, League members move from awareness to action. To appreciate unconscious bias, we must:

  • Understand why unconscious bias happens
  • Raise awareness and manage unconscious bias
  • Discuss strategies that members can implement to overcome unconscious bias, both as individuals and as part of the League.

Each member may register for one of the dates listed.

An email with the zoom credentials will arrive a few days before the event.

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) measures attitudes and beliefs that people may be unwilling or unable to report. You are invited to take this optional IAT test. It was created by Project Implicit, a non-profit organization designed to educate the public about hidden biases. Click this LINK to check your bias.
