Focus Flourish Group- Dive Team

Overview

The Dive Team: A study group integrating psychology and applied faith for women seeking a deeper connection with God.

Text: Restoring Relationship: Transforming Fear into Love through Connection by Molly LaCroix

This workshop series is based on the book named above, which uses Internal Family Systems Theory of relationships to discuss a dramatically different approach to living in connection with each other. Reading The Journey to Shalom by Molly LaCroix before this workshop is helpful but not required.

Workshop Format

Dive Team is formatted to be a focused learning experience grounded in the life and teachings of Jesus. These workshops intend to help us deepen our connection to God and experience abundance in life through that connection.

Over the course of four immersive, 2-hour in-person sessions, we will actively dismantle the relational habits that no longer serve us and build a healthier framework for love and community.

Each week, we will dive deep into a process of unlearning and learning. We will unlearn the instinct to view conflict as a failure, unlearn the myth that time alone heals past wounds, and unlearn the belief that defensive behaviors are personal flaws. In their place, you will learn the core principles of Molly LaCroix’s "inside-out" approach—discovering how past hurts fuel present triggers and deconstructing the specific, heavy impact of relational ruptures within faith communities.

You won’t just be listening to theory. Every session features a live demonstration of the concepts, giving you a front-row seat to see how these frameworks practically translate into real-life conversations and internal healing.

Because lasting change requires practice, your experience extends beyond the classroom. Between our weekly gatherings, you will receive four targeted video sessions straight to your inbox. These bite-sized digital guides are designed to support your at-home practice, helping you integrate the tools seamlessly into your daily life and relationships. Finally, because life happens and consistency matters, the series includes one dedicated make-up session to ensure that if you miss a week, you won't miss a step on your path to restoration.
