Ditch & Switch

Instead of being overwhelmed by making big sustainable lifestyle changes, we'll help you start small! At this workshop, you'll be introduced to easy and simple zero-waste refills and plastic-free home essentials. We'll also talk about what is compostable and a service that can take the guess-work out of composting altogether! Below are some workshop details:

• BYOC – Bring your own container! After the workshop, feel free to explore and shop around Little Pine Refillery. You can use your container for filling and purchasing your preferred products!
• Goodie bags (which include): Everyone will go home with a fun goodie bag that will inclue a pamphlet of ingredients to avoid & why, a sample size of soap(s), stickers & business cards
• Workshop Format Includes: Emily (Owner, Little Pine Refillery) will speak about in-store products. Matthew (Office Manager, Mission Compost) will speak about compostability and Mission Compost.
• Topics to be Discussed: What are some household products that can be refilled? What are some physical conventional products that can be switched out for more sustainable ones (toothbrushes, q-tips, hairbrushes, scrubbers, papertowels)? Which of these products are compostable? What is Mission Compost?
