Want to learn the most sought after journalism skills? Experts will share their tips for open-source investigation and verification.

Join Barbara Marcolini (Producer, Visual Investigations, The New York Times), Claire Wardle (Executive Director, First Draft), Ben Decker (Memetica, The New York Times), and Leon Yin (The Markup, NYU) to learn how they identify disinformation networks on social media (especially important in an election year), hold the powerful accountable with advanced digital forensics, and use open-source verification skills to identify online extremism and warfare. The panel will be moderated by NYU Journalism Prof. Hilke Schellmann and there will be plenty of time for Q&amp;A. Free and open to the public.
