Discovery Days

Join us at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center for Discovery Days, where students in grades 6-8 can immerse themselves in a world of learning and exploration. Our one-day camps, held during school breaks, offer a unique opportunity to engage with educators and community partners. Each camp is designed to spark curiosity, foster new skills, and inspire future career aspirations. From healthcare simulations to creative arts, every Discovery Day promises a day full of learning and fun.

By registering for this event, I grant permission to the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, its officers, employees, and/or agents (collectively “the Center”) to photograph, audio/video record me or any minor children for which I am the parent/legal guardian during participation in this program and to use such photographs, recordings, or videos in any medium (including print or electronic sources) at its sole discretion without further consent or any compensation.

Registration cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the event start time to receive a full refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 48 hours before the event. No refunds will be provided after the event has taken place. Participants who leave the event early for any reason are not eligible for a partial refund of any registration fees. By registering, participants acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
