Discover Nature!

Suggested for grades K - 1

• Visit the Montgomery County Fairgrounds and learn about Nature at the University of Maryland Garden Discovery Day on September 21tst, 2024!
• Visit the gardens and experience nature with Master Gardener guides.
• Learn how to prepare for, explore and protect nature by using resources wisely, and to Leave No Trace.
• Read about examples of resourcefulness and practice repurposing with a craft.

Discover Nature! will complete the requirements for the Cub Scout Tiger In the Wild Adventure and the Girl Scout Daisy Clover Petal and Eco Learner Badge.

Come dressed for the weather. Some parts of the badge will take place outside, rain or shine.

This is not a drop-off program. We request 1 adult for every 3 children in your group. Adults are free and do not require a ticket.
