The East Lincoln County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be completing their basic training academy program on Saturday, June 29 with a Disaster Simulation Exercise. 8-10 volunteers of various ages and physical types are needed to roleplay victims following a disaster so that the new CERT responders can practice first aid and rescue skills.
Volunteer victims will first be given mock injuries by an experienced team of trauma simulation makeup artists from Cascadia Moulage. Victims will then be assigned a disaster scenario to roleplay, and teams of CERT responders would use the skills they have learned in basic training academy to assist them.
