About this event

  • 4 hours

ISU’s 9/11 Day of Service program aims to support volunteers in engaging in community-based activities that will aid those who are affected by poverty and unite communities through service in North, Central, and Southeast Idaho on the September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance as well as throughout the year. In doing so, we hope there is a lasting drive in Idahoans to continue to serve their communities.

This event is geared towards bringing neighbors together. Not only will attendees learn more about what they can do to help themselves in disasters of all shapes and sizes, but they will get to know their neighbors and learn how to work together in these situations. There will be booths for the adults intertwined with activities for children of all ages. During this shift, we will need help setting up, manning different activity centers, overseeing needs of other volunteers and staff, as well as handling unique situations that may pop up. For more information, you can call Kayla Fielder at 208-530-0590.
