DisArtbelieves that expressions of a Disability cultural identity can transform society from awareness to understanding to belonging, creating a community that enjoys the full and equitable participation of all Disabled people.Since then, DisArt has become known for its carefully curated contemporary art exhibitions, cutting-edge public events, educational podcasts, and innovative organizational consulting. All DisArt programs center on disability, identity, design, and community making in order to engage Disabled and nondisabled audiences in ways that increase their awareness and understanding of Disability culture and the lived experience of disability.Consequently, Disart has been recognized by peer organizations globally as both innovative and influential when it comes to creative access design strategies, messaging, institutional coaching, curatorial practice, and liberatory philosophies of disability.Beauty Beyon Drag Productionsis an LLC drag entertainment production company serving the West Michigan and surrounding areas. We spread the art of drag to ALL communities while also raising awareness for organizations.Culture Deviceis a catalyst for artistic excellence. They choreograph, produce and promote social-cultural events across the UK and overseas. Established in 2010, they have delivered over 15 projects with exceptional artists with Down’s Syndrome (DS), reaching over 3.5 million people. They choreograph, produce and promote social/cultural happenings and events.Culture Device Dance Project is an innovative dance company for professional dancers with DS. Drag Syndrome has become known as ‘UK's underground drag troop featuring drag queens with Down’s Syndrome.’

The innovative Disability arts and culture organization DisArt, in partnership with Beauty Beyond Drag Productions and Culture Device, is proud to present the US premier performance by the London-based avant-garde drag troupe Drag Syndrome. The show will also feature local Disabled drag artists, facilitated by the Grand Rapids-based Beauty Beyond Drag Productions. Don't miss this exciting, national event.

Ticket holders MUST check in at Wealthy Theatre by 6:45pm to guarantee their seat. After 6:45pm any unused tickets will be given to the next person in line at the theatre. There is no waitlist.

Sensory Screening Ticket: 
A sensory screening room is available during this show in the Wealthy Theatre's Front Studio: This screening will be streamed live and offer a sensory friendly environment for people with autism or neuro-diversity needs and their families with low sound, comfortable lighting, and and expectation that people can move around, come and go as they need to. 1110 Wealthy St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506
