Direct Socket TT

Direct Socket TT

Overview

Gain hands on experience in Direct Socket TT fabrication, liner selection, suspension options, alignment and troubleshooting.

Course Overview

Discover a faster, more efficient approach to transtibial socket fabrication with this interactive, hands on Össur Academy course, designed to build your confidence and practical skills in the Direct Socket TT System.

Direct Socket TT is an innovative technique that allows clinicians to fabricate a definitive prosthetic socket directly onto the user's residual limb, with the entire process taking less than two hours. Its streamlined fabrication process makes it a valuable solution for a range of clinical environments, including remote clinics and hospital settings.

Combining expert led demonstrations with extensive practical training, this course gives participants the opportunity to explore the Direct Socket TT system, understand compatible suspension options and gain hands on experience fabricating and fitting sockets on patient models.

What to Expect

Direct Socket TT Technology & Patient Selection

Explore the Direct Socket TT system, its benefits and clinical applications. Learn how to identify suitable patient candidates and understand the key considerations for successful socket fabrication.
