Join us for a fundraising event for Child Care Aware® of Eastern Kansas. This mixed doubles tournament is open to players with skill levels 3.0 and 3.5 who are 16 years and older. The tournament features a double-elimination format with 12 available courts. Each skill level can have up to 24 teams participate. Players must sign a liability waiver on the event day. A parent or legal guardian must sign for any participating minor in this event.
First Place Prize: Tickets to the upcoming Celebrity Waiter Event on September 28th. A $300 Value
Cost: $100/team (players must register together as a team).
Registration for the tournament will open in February 2024 and close on May 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM (may close earlier if all spots are filled). The last day to guarantee an event t-shirt is April 21, 2024.
Bobby’s Food Co will be on site with their food truck during the Dink and Volley Pickleball tournament. 10% of total food sales during the tournament will be donated to Child Care Aware® of Eastern Kansas
All funds raised from this event support the healthy development of young children by improving access to high-quality child care options and educational resources for families and early childhood professionals.
Pickleball Rating System
3.0: Someone who understands the fundamentals and knows court positioning, and is able to make medium-paced shots.
3.5: An individual who can differentiate between a soft game and a hard game and can move quickly into the non-volley zone. This person also understands when stacking might be advantageous.
