Dining on the Dock

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and its motto is ”Service Above Self.” The Rotary Club of Farragut is an active group of 102 community leaders, reflecting a cross-section of local businesses and services. Our members are passionately interested in improving life in our community and nurturing the next generation of its leaders. The club meets weekly at Fox Den Country Club for fellowship, the discussion and plans for our projects and the presentation of outstanding programs.

Rotary Club of Farragut

<P><SPAN>“Dining on the Dock” is an annual fundraiser that benefits the Rotary Club of Farragut and the projects and organizations it supports – at home and abroad. Club members engage in fundraising activities to benefit local schools, parks, the cleanup of streams, and providing the leadership and manpower for the annual Free Flu Shot Saturday. The Rotary Club of Farragut sponsors the Hardin Valley High School Interact Club as a means of mentoring, tutoring, and providing leadership training for youth in our community.  The club also supports an array of non-profit organizations that work throughout our community. Through Rotary International, the club supports a wide range of international projects, including the global eradication of polio, providing clean drinking water and improving health services in Mexico and Africa.</SPAN></P>
