Dimensions is excited to host our inaugural Elevations Celebration at the Harlem School or Arts over the weekend of May 20- 21st in Harlem, New York City! We look forward to gathering with you to celebrate the women and the work of seven cohorts over the last five years that have elevated the joy, health and wellbeing of Black and Brown women leaders across the nation!Our Saturday evening soiree will be an opportunity for cohort alumni, friends and family to gather, network and build community together.Our Sunday celebration will be a spectacular evening of food, music, dance, wisdom and JOY featuring outstanding artists like the Zawadi African Dance Ensemble and nationally renowned speakers Erika Totten, Shayna Hammond, Tema Okun, Mary Ferguson, Barbara Love, Shemariah Arki, Olga Gonzalez and Priestess/Kohenet Angelique (YA) Rivera.W﻿e will also be launching a clip from our first feature film &quot;Black Women at Rest&quot; by Director, Noemie Serfaty, acclaimed director of Milk &amp; Blood &amp; Nothing to Lose but our Chains.Women of Color have been leading the fight for us all - dismantling white supremacy, resisting racism, and working tirelessly to disrupt anti-Blackness in the leadership work that they do every day. Come celebrate with us the monumental work of Jewish Women of Color (JWOC), BIPOC women, and white women accomplices who have dared greatly to push past divisions, speak truth to power, and strive for the fair treatment of all while prioritizing good care and wellness for themselves. Over the weekend of May 20, 2023, we will honor the work of these courageous women - our mothers, daughters, nieces, sisters, sis-stahs, and sis-Stars who have chosen collectively- to gift their &quot;mother-work&quot; to the global necessity of making this world better for the generations that will follow us. Open to all current JWOC/JOC-A cohorts and alumni.</li></ul><ul><li>Sunday, May 21: @ Harlem School of the Arts (HSA), 645 St. Nicholas Avenue, Harlem, NYC.
