This 6-week series is for care partners to persons living with any form of dementia. Completing all six classes will increase knowledge, skills, abilities, confidence, and sense of well-being. These classes focus on promoting dignity and preserving independence throughout the voyage.
Participants will learn about:
-the 4 primary forms of dementia and associated progression
-caregiving techniques, strategies, and tools
-planning for today and the future
-self-care
-the impact of grief.
