Web Analytics for Startups.
Web analytics is the objective tracking, collection, measurement, reporting, and analysis of quantitative Internet data to optimize websites and web marketing initiatives.
This class aims to provide entrepreneurs with some fundamental knowledge in regards to Web Analytics. Most companies already have tools setup (in most cases Google Analytics).
However, lots of people do not take full advantage of the opportunity to extract actionable insights from the data they collect. A sensible Web Analytics strategy helps to refine the product and optimize campaign ROI.
Goals
- To communicate what web analytics can tell you and why you should care. •
- To help you avoid data overload by focusing on the insights you need and allow you to forget about the vanity metrics. •
- To provide you with some tools that can help you to learn more about your startup’s performance and to make data-driven decisions.

About Digital School: Ecommerce/Digital school is a place where education is shared, best practices are discussed, and solutions are found. The audience ranges from college students to professionals at executive level, everyone is welcome and those that have something to add. An expert in the field leads a focused lesson followed by a 30 minute workshop, Q & A, or burn session. Come to teach, to learn, & add to the digital/ecommerce conversation.
