Description

Research Strategy & Innovation Office and DHI (Digital Health & Care Institute) invite you to attend a lunchtime information meeting on Tuesday 8th of September 2015 at 12 noon in the Sir Charles Wilson seminar room.

Founded in October 2013 in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, Glasgow School of Art and NHS24, the Digital Health and Care Institute is part of Scotland’s network of Innovation Centres. DHI brings together people and organisations in the health and social care, charity, technology, design and academic sectors to develop new ideas for digital technology and information services that will improve the delivery of health and care services for Scotland’s communities.

DHI’s partners and members create a community of like-minded people, who contribute insight, know-how, funding and research to help turn the spark of an idea into a lasting change to how health and social care is delivered. Crucially, ideas must lead to viable and affordable products and services that can be brought to market in Scotland and beyond, establishing Scotland as an exporter of digital health & care technologies.

If you have a passion for innovation or have an idea that can influence and change the way health & care is delivered come along to this afternoon event ( lunch will be provided) to find out how DHI operates (through its unique innovation model), access and opportunities for funding, creation of new innovative technologies, resources and the opportunity to become part of a large collaborative community.

This events holds the opportunity for you to discuss your areas of interest with DHI along with potential innovative ideas you have and how to progress this to the next stage.
