Digital Document Basics Workshop - Delivered by Suffolk New College
Knowing how to create and manage documents is one of the most practical skills you can have - whether you're writing a letter, filling in a form, updating a CV, or organising files for a job or voluntary role.
This workshop walks you through the basics in a calm, supported environment using Word, Google Docs, or whichever tool you're most likely to use day-to-day.You'll learn how to start a document from scratch or use a ready-made template, apply simple formatting so your documents look clear and professional, and save and organise your files so you can actually find them again.
You'll also cover how to share documents with others - by email or via cloud storage - and how to avoid the small mistakes that can cause big headaches, like saving over something you needed or sending the wrong version. No prior experience needed. Bring a laptop if you have one.
