About the Training:

Digital Dangers & Internet Safety for Youth is a 1 1/2-hour training that explores the types of digital dangers (including sexting and cyberbullying) and abuse youth are exposed to online. In the training, we will identify protective measures to help reduce risks. Participants will learn strategies to empower and support youth to make healthy choices.

Digital Dangers & Internet Safety for Youth is a custom training born out of Liberty House’s iRespect&Protect community campaign dedicated to supporting the lives of youth, families, and communities by fostering positive self-worth, promoting healthy online choices, and encouraging safe relationships.

About the Facilitator:

Liberty House is the Children’s Advocacy Center serving Marion and Polk Counties in Oregon. We are your resource for the assessment, healing, and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Child abuse is common, possible to heal, and largely preventable. Our Prevention Department provides trainings and education in English and Spanish to help keep children safe.
