Welcome to the Digital Arts Summer Camp! Get ready for a fun and creative experience where you can unleash your artistic skills. Join us for a week, or all 3 weeks starting on June 3rd at 2007 Vernon Pl.
Options:
Week 1: Photography June 3-7
Students will gain basic knowledge of photography shooting, editing and art appreciation. Students will have access to and learn how to use DSLR cameras during the camp. Students will leave with 2 pieces of printed photographs.
Week 2: How to Make a T-Shirt June 17-21
Overview: Students will learn design basics and how to create a screen for printing shirts. Students will leave with their screen to reprint other shirts and a t-shirt they create during the week.
Week 3: Week 2: Digital Design July 8-12
Overview: Students will learn graphic design basics and create an actual product to sell using Shopify. Students will also learn how to design a product website and upload their products. Students will leave with an online webstore (free for 30 days) and a product to sell online.

Young Moguls Academy is a kids creative program founded by Black Water Media designed to teach students aged 12-16 about creative careers like business development, branding, music production, art direction and more.
The camp fee of $250 includes prototype materials for product development, a camp t-shirt, a website domain for each participant, access to digital products and resources, and assistance in creating an online shop to sell their products.
Yes, participants will have the opportunity to sell their products after the camp, however you can choose to terminate the site if desired.
We prioritize the safety of all participants. Our staff undergoes thorough background checks, and we maintain a secure and supervised camp environment. We also adhere to health and safety guidelines, including any necessary COVID-19 precautions,
Yes, your child will need to bring a laptop or iPad/Tabet. We will provide all other necessary materials for the camp activities, including prototype materials.
Please provide your child with appropriate lunch accommodations and water bottle (refrigerator on site). Pizza lunch MAY be provided but not guaranteed. Instructor will communicate lunch accommodations the day before.
Yes, we welcome parent involvement! There may be opportunities for volunteering, attending special events, or sharing expertise as guest speakers. We value collaboration between parents, camp organizers, and participants to create a rich and engaging ex
