Digital Art Tech Ed Summer Intense Program

Overview

2-week digital arts program teaching photography, video, design & storytelling. Select the week and build projects and showcase your work!

The Digital Art Tech Ed Summer Intense Program is for 9th through 12th-grade students and is a hands-on, youth-centered creative learning experience designed to introduce participants to the world of digital arts, multimedia storytelling, and content creation.

Students will choose one 2-week session ( 8 participants per 2-week program) and, during that time, engage in activities such as photography, filmmaking, graphic design, audio production, digital illustration, and video editing. They will develop skills to creatively express their ideas and craft compelling stories through various media.

Students will work alongside a teaching artist and a media professional in an engaging, collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and self-expression. They will gain real-world experience with professional digital media tools and equipment while building confidence in their technical and artistic abilities.

  • Throughout the program, participants can expect:
  • Hands-on workshops and guided creative projects
  • Training in photography, videography, editing, and design
  • Opportunities to create original multimedia content
  • Mentorship from artists and digital media professionals
  • Team collaboration and storytelling activities
  • Skill-building in communication, creativity, and digital literacy
  • Exposure to professional media production environments
  • A final community showcase where students present their work

This program is ideal for youth interested in art, technology, media production, storytelling, or content creation who want to develop valuable creative and career-ready skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
