Co-leader of the URI Accessibility Taskforce, Margaret is passionate about accessibility and community-building, and she believes that UX has the capacity to improve every aspect of our lives – from the computer software we use at work, to the website that we browse for entertainment, to the mobile apps that we use on a daily basis.Becca CarneBecca is a User Experience Researcher at User Research International in Redmond, WA, and a current master’s student at the University of Washington studying Human-Centered Design and Engineering. At URI, Becca co-leads the company’s Accessibility Taskforce which facilitates internal discussions around accessibility and inclusive design. Becca believes impactful research is driven by empathy and a commitment to always be an apprentice to the user.Goal: To better understand what accessibility is and how to inspire accessible innovation for all and help build better product inclusion.
