Join us for DiGiCo training at PSI!
GerrAudio, in partnership with PSI, will be hosting an Intermediate & Advanced DiGiCo Quantum and SD-Series training session on May 6th & 7th. Register for both days or choose between sessions. Session descriptions are below.
The Intermediate session on May 6th will start at 12:30PM and run until around 4:30PM.
The Advanced session on May 7th will start at 9:30AM and run until around 4:30PM.
Afternoon snacks and refreshments will be provided. A pizza lunch will be provided for the Advanced session along with afternoon snacks and refreshments.
There is no cost to attend this training session.
Seats are limited and registration is first-come, first-serve.
Intermediate (May 6th)
The Intermediate class provides an overview of the Quantum and SD-Series consoles and stage racks, their function and connectivity, and then moves into configuration and basic operation. Everything you need to know to get up and running and mix a show.
Basic Training Session Overview
Each person will be provided time in front of a console and will cover off the following:
- History of the DiGiCo Console Range
- General Overview of Architecture
- Racks and I/O Option Setup
- Basic Routing
- Layout Options and Navigation
- Bus Structure / Matrix I/O
- FX Routing
- Simple Mixing Techniques
All consoles will be provided a MADI feed with MultiTrack Audio and a pair of Headphones. Users will have the ability to try their newfound knowledge with some hands-on mixing during and after the session is complete.
Advanced (May 7th)
The Advanced class provides an in-depth look into the Quantum and SD-Series consoles and stage racks, networking between consoles, and then moves into advanced layouts and configurations. Everything you need to know to take your mixing to the next level!
Advanced Training Session Overview
Each person will be provided time in front of a console and will cover the following:
- Advanced Setups and Routing
- MultiFunction Macros
- Snapshots and Automation
- Optical Racks and Loop Configuration
- Console Networking and Remote Control
- Advanced Layout and Bank Configuration
- KLANG integration and configuration
All consoles will be provided a MADI feed with MultiTrack Audio and a pair of Headphones. Users will have the ability to try their newfound knowledge with some hands-on mixing during and after the session is complete.
