Designed for experienced participants comfortable with independent exploration. Best suited for prior rockhounding or geology experience.

Participants engage in an independent, self-paced educational exploration focused on rockhounding and basic geology concepts.

Participants may bring their own hand tools if desired. Educational field tools are also available on site for learning and demonstration purposes at no additional charge.

Educational materials may be provided to support learning and observation, including self-directed scavenger hunts, reference guides, and helpful informational resources designed to assist with exploration and mineral awareness.

Activities are non-mechanized, low-impact, and educational in nature.
