Other credits include Alex Lehmann’s ACIDMAN (Tribeca 2022) starring Thomas Haden Church and Dianna Agron; MATERNA (Utopia), Best Cinematography and Best Actress at Tribeca 2020; JULES OF LIGHT & DARK, the 2019 Outfest Best US Narrative Feature; and David Lowery’s A GHOST STORY (Sundance 2017 | A24), starring Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck.

A former reporter for The Dallas Morning News, she's written and directed two award-winning short films; was nominated for the 2023 Indie Spirit Producer Award; is a 2023 Gotham Cannes Producers Network Fellow; and was included in the 2019 LATINXT, a curated list of Latinx creators from an initiative by Zoe Saldana, Robert Rodriguez and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Under her Ten to the Six Pictures, she has two features in post and five in development - one she wrote and one based off her Oscar-qualifying Indigenous short, BURROS, which Eva Longoria was an EP on and premiered at Tribeca. Liz is based in LA and Dallas, where she grew up with her Hispanic father who immigrated to the US from Mexico and Irish-American mother.
