On behalf of The Dialogue Society Sheffield Branch, I would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to our 4th Annual Dialogue Picnic event on Sunday, the 30th June 2024 at 15:00hrs. The event will be in the beautiful Graves Park. It would be a great pleasure for us to have you at this event.
The event is aimed at having a chance to see each other, catching up, having friendly conversations with a diverse range of individuals and communities who have contributed in positive ways to bring about social cohesion within Sheffield and surrounding areas. We are also planning to play some games to enjoy our times at the event.
The event will be a casual picnic where we will have some food, play some fun games and converse with each other. For an informed preparation for the event, there is a number of things that we would like to point out:
· We will serve hygienically prepared homemade Turkish food however it is completely up to you to have some of them or bring your own.
· We will not serve hot or cold drinks. We kindly ask you to bring your own hot or cold drinks as you wish.
· We kindly ask everyone to bring their own picnic rugs or chairs.
· For a more eco friendly picnic experience, we kindly ask everyone to bring their own plates, cups and cutlery. It is up to you to bring disposable or reusable ones. But we have decided not to provide these.
If prior to the event day, the weather forecast suggests that it will not be a dry day, we will sadly have to cancel or postpone the event. In that case, we will inform you of the cancellation or postponement via e-mail.
Please note that there may be limited parking space in the car park at the address below. Unfortunately, we will not be able to guarantee parking spaces as the venue is public park. Thank you for your understanding.
The event will be in Graves Park. Please find attached a map showing the actual area where we will be gathering on the day. As mentioned above, one of the addresses/postcodes provided below is for Graves Park itself and the other one is for the car park. Please also find attached the invitation banner.
