CWFA board member and therapist, Stephanie Johnston, LCSW, is teaching an online, 2-day DBT workshop July 24-25.

DAY 1: FRIDAY, JUNE 26$1006 CEUs for Arkansas social workersWe will discuss the chaos vs control dialectic and the biosocial model of Borderline Personality Disorder. Understanding this orientation helps clinicians have compassionate understanding of their clients while maintaining healthy boundaries. We will discuss the structure of individual sessions, use of phone coaching, and the importance of the consultation team. Practical skills from Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Mindfulness will also be provided. We'll break into small groups with several DBT experts to lead discussion and practice role playing DBT skills. On day two we'll process case examples and have question answer periods for some of your most challenging clinical situations. Day 2 is open to anyone who has already been through the initial Chaos &amp; Control workshop. 6 CEU hours for AR social workers for a discounted price of just $50!
