Institution Translational Partnership Award Program at Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (iTPA@MORU)iTPA @MORU is currently the first and the only oversea iTPA funded partnership under TheWellcomeTrust, which first pilot in last 2017 with the total 6 partnerships together with another 5 units in UK. And currently there are now 10 partnerships within this iTPA program.iTPA @MORU focus on closing the gap between research and implementing interventions, building capacity and expertise to support early translation to improve the health of people in low-income and middle countries (LMIC).

iTPA team at Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit would like to invite you all to attend “Diagnosis Tool Development Workshop” on 25-26 November at Siam@Siam Hotel Bangkok. We invited speakers from several organizations e.g. WHO, FIND, LSHTM etc. to give knowledge on various topics concerning on developing diagnostic tools. As iTPA and MORU are supporting research projects to create impact on global public health,  iTPA team would like to encourage all researchers to join this workshop as your projects may have a potential to develop/implement into effective diagnostic tools.
 
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- build understanding on how scientific studies can create innovation that drive impact.
- related IP concerns
- related policies and regulatory issues
- Health industry and ecosystem
 
Moreover, the workshop is a great opportunity for networking with all stakeholder in RDT development from Research to Industry e.g Acadamic, Hospital, Industry and Funding Agency from Both local and international level.
The workshop is 2-days event. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
