About the Presenter
Dr. Chinedu Varma, MD, MPH completed medical school at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2010 and also obtained a Master’s in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She trained in general psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell Universities. She is board certified in child, adolescent, and general psychiatry. She serves on the executive committee of the Maryland Regional Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Varma currently serves as the director of psychiatry education at Catholic Charities and psychiatrist at Villa Maria Fallstaff clinic.
