Are you a young person aged between 11 and 24 living with diabetes on the Isle of Man? Then we need you!
Come along to our drop-in Diabetes & Me event on Thursday 13th June between 6 -8pm, to help shape the future of support services for young people living with the condition on the island. This event will take place in the Bridge the Gap pod, based within Noble's Hospital.
There will be an introduction to the newly formed Hospital Youth Service, along with input from psychologist Dr. Katy Roe.
This event is an opportunity for young people to share their needs, and what they feel will help make the mental load of living with diabetes more manageable. It is open to young people with the condition and their immediate family members or carers.
There will be a short anonymous survey to complete before the event, which will help to form the content of the evening.
This will be a series of events, which will include a wider age range. We will announce details of these over the next few weeks.
This event is being run in collaboration with the incredible Bridge the Gap charity.
