Join us for the second workshop in our annual Día de los Muertos Community Art Workshop Series on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12-3 PM!

Guided by SHG teaching artists, participants will explore Día de los Muertos traditional crafts, including mini modeling clay ofrendas, papel picado, and paper flowers! Connect with the cultural practices of this beloved celebration while creating artworks to honor ancestors and loved ones.

All materials provided.

Free and open to all ages.

About the SHG Día de los Muertos Community Art Workshop Series

Each October, SHG hosts a series of free community art workshops every Saturday from 12-3 PM. The first workshop (October 4) will take place at In The Making (4024 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA), followed by three sessions (October 11, 18, 25) at the East Los Angeles County Library (4837 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90022).
